Management
Founder and Managing Partner: Tim Ramdeen is an experienced buy-side investment professional and portfolio manager with multiple years of experience investing across asset classes, sectors, capital structures, and geographies. Prior to founding Dharma Capital Advisors, Tim was Co-founder, Chief Investment Officer, and Portfolio Manager at Sixth Borough Capital Management – a multi-stage, event-driven hedge fund focused on both private and public equities – where he successfully managed a multi-million-dollar portfolio (double digit returns in 2021). Tim was also the fifth hire at Altium Capital Management – a healthcare-focused investment firm – where he served as the sole analyst on the private capital markets/special situations desk (privately-negotiated financings, direct investments, event-driven long/short, and private to public investments in micro and small-cap companies). During his tenure at Altium, Tim was instrumental in co-creating both the firm’s SPAC and Reverse Merger investment efforts, and establishing extensive relationships with hundreds of private and publicly traded companies, sell-side constituents, and buy-side counterparts. Prior to Altium, Tim was the sole investment analyst at Brio Capital Management – a NY-based event-driven/special situations hedge fund focused on small-cap equities – where he invested as a generalist. In addition to spearheading all investments on behalf of the firm, Tim assumed increasing degrees of responsibility and oversight including general fund/business operations, investor relations, capital raising/business development, and compliance. Tim holds a Bachelor in Science from Temple University where he was initially accepted as part of an accelerated medical school program. In addition, Tim earned his MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.

Dharma Capital provides consulting services to clients on strategic business matters. These services do not place Dharma Capital in the role of a Broker/Dealer or an investment advisor.
Dharma Capital is not registered as a securities broker-dealer or an investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) or any state securities regulatory authority. Moreover, advisors on buying or selling businesses are subject to SEC regulation because transaction advice generally involvers the transfer of securities, wherein equity interests in the business are bought or sold.
